Mrs. Hammond graduated from Humbolt State University with a B.S. in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Aquatics and Adapted P.E. Over the past 20 years she has worked as a lifeguard, a swimming and water safety instructor, as well as a swim coach for the Special Olympics. Along with her experience, Roxanne has also brought new activities such as tennis, swimming and golf to our P.E. curriculum.
Gayle and her family served as missionaries in Costa Rica for fifteen years, where she taught second grade in a bi-lingual school for missionary children.  After her return to California in 1993 Gayle graduated from Cal State San Marcos with a Multi-subject Teaching Credential, with a specialty in Spanish.  Before coming to Our Savior's as our 4th grade teacher seven years ago Gayle taught in both public and private schools.  Her classroom experience includes preschool, Jr. High Spanish, Third, and Fourth Grades. Now, after a 3-year absence, she returns to us as, this time as our Spanish teacher.
“Mr. Bob” is a graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. He holds degrees in Music Education and Audio Recording. Bob teaches and performs music at Our Savior's Lutheran Church and School. He gives private music lessons and performs and records throughout the USA.  Mr. Levesque has been at Our Savior's School for fourteen years.
Darya taught 2nd grade for Our Savior’s from 1997 until 2001. Since then she has continued to assist her husband, Bob, with the music portion of the church’s Sunday worships and our school’s Wednesday morning chapel service. She now begins her 6th year of instruction here at Our Savior’s after returning to our faculty last school as our preschool music teacher.
Patrick majored in Communication Arts at Saddleback College and Fine Arts at U.C. Irvine, with minors in Anthropology and Oceanography.  Since 1983 he has been a cinematographer for various networks including ESPN, Discovery and National Geographic.  Patrick helped build our school's telephone and computer network, and has maintained our computer systems since 1997.  He has taught for Saddleback College, The American Heart Association, The L.A. County Underwater Unit, and is now in his 6th year teaching here at Our Savior's.
Mrs. Brown received her B. A. in Business Economics from U.C. Santa Barbara, and a teaching credential from Cal State Fullerton.  She believes in the importance of life-long learning and promotes this concept in her classroom.  Karen teaches that every child can succeed, and works to actively engage each and every child at his/her level.  She has been at OSLS for eight years.  Mrs. Brown hosts our after school study hall.
Mrs. V has 6 years teaching experience with children grades 1-10. A mother of three, she returned to the classroom last year after a two-year hiatus with her two young daughters. A graduate of San Clemente High School, Katrina received her B.A. in Psychology, with a minor in Religious Studies, and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and a Masters in Education from Vanguard University of Southern California. Katrina loves the outdoors, surfing, playing guitar, and photography.
Terrie graduated from Concordia University with a Liberal Arts Degree in 2004.  She was a substitute teacher for us while she completed her credentialing program at Concordia.  Terrie taught one of our second grade classes her first two years at Our Savior’s, then she taught third grade, and now for the second year she is teaching fourth grade.  Terrie came to us because she wanted to work in a school “where God, Jesus and prayer” were a part of the everyday program.
Barbara graduated with a B.A. from San Diego State University, and earned her Cleared California Teaching Credential after completing classes at Concordia University. She has received training from the following:  Project Wild, Project Wet, Jr. Great Books, and the National Writing Project.  She has been at Our Savior's for twelve out of the thirteen years she has been teaching. For the past seven years she has also led our Character Council.
Lynn began teaching for Our Savior's in September of 2004. She went into teaching because she “wanted to make a difference in the lives of children.”  Lynn completed her requirements for the California Credentialing Program at Concordia University.  She recently applied for and received a Founder's Grant from ELEA, and also her Masters in Education.
Mrs. Moore graduated from California State University Fullerton and has been teaching for seven years at OSLS.  Jane has a CLAD emphasis on her California Credential.  She recently completed the Reading Instruction Certificate program requiring 45 hours of specific instruction in the area of literacy.
Jill graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.S. in Education. She received her California Teacher's Credential from the University of California, Irvine.  This is Jill's 11th year at Our Savior's.  She enjoys literature, travel, art, music, playing the piano and basketball.  In addition to teaching at OSLS, Jill writes our articles for the Sun Post Newspaper.
Erin returned to school after a career in business and obtained her CLAD Teaching Credential at Cal State University San Marcos. She is a dedicated teacher and mother of two daughters who also attended Our Savior’s.  Erin has been teaching at Our Savior's for ten years and enjoys traveling and reading in her spare time.
Julianne received her degree in Primary Education from San Diego State University. She was a substitute teacher for seven years with the Capistrano Unified School District and the Santa Clara Unified School District. She also subbed at Our Savior's for three of those years, taking over one of our full-time kindergarten teaching positions in May of 2006.
Peggy graduated from Loyola Marymount University.  She holds a California Life Credential for grades K-12. Prior to coming to OSLS Mrs. Griffin taught first grade for four years. She has been teaching at Our Savior's  since September of 1995.  Mrs. Griffin enjoys teaching reading and math.
Now in her tenth year of teaching, Jamie returned to us three years ago in her eighth year, which previously included two years of service here at Our Savior's. She attended Saddleback Community College, and received her CEC certificate from the State of California. She also works in the Sunday School program at Pacific Coast Church.
April has been teaching pre-school for sixteen years.  The last ten of those years she has taught at OSLS.  April completed her Early Education Certificate at Fullerton Community College. She is currently completing her AA in Human Development. Miss Riebau also teaches our afternoon pre-school enrichment class.
Mrs. Brown graduated from Fullerton Community College with an A.A. Degree in Early Childhood Education.  After raising her family, she returned to teaching young children.  With a love for the Lord and literature, she has found a perfect professional match at Our Savior's.  She has taught here for fourteen years.
