Our Savior's Lutheran School is currently a preschool through fifth grade facility. Our preschool includes classes for three year olds, three & four year olds, and pre-kindergarten. Our elementary school includes 2 full day kindergartens, 2 first grades, 2 second grades, 1 third grade, 1 fourth grade and 1 fifth grade class.
We also host several after school programs for our students. Those who stay late can attend study hall each afternoon as part of our daycare program. Once a week, students can attend KidArt and other activities. One evening a week, Our Saviors Lutheran Church offers choir and Bible study. We also host local scouting programs for boys and for girls.
Note: Some of these programs are run by independent instructors and may require registration and a fee. Check with the school's office for applications and schedules.
Throughout the year, we schedule visits from educational programs in the areas of performing arts, science and nature. Classes also venture off-campus for field trips. These scholastic adventures may vary from simple day-treks at ecological reserves and whale watching voyages, to overnight expeditions on Catalina Island and to Coloma's “Gold Country.”
In addition to regular schoolwork and activities, students who wish may also get involved in programs such as Character Council. Participation in Character Council activities provides each student with an opportunity to offer valuable services to the church, school, and community, and to develop the characteristics of leadership that are so vital to the American way of life.

Math, science, social studies and language skills are taught by homeroom instructors. Extracurricular courses, such as PE, art, music, Spanish and computer skills are taught by instructors specialized in these areas. Extracurricular classes take place on campus, usually outside the homeroom environment. Music class offers students the opportunity to participate in our school's Christmas and spring performances. Students also attend chapel once a week where they are taught spiritual guidelines to be practiced each month.
