While an incident at the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station will always be the number one emergency issue of most South Orange County residents, it is also the most unlikely emergency that we will ever have to face. The odds are greater that brush fires, police actions, and possibly even freeway chemical spills may cause us to react in a manner that requires relocating our students to other schools for their well being. If such an action were to take place, Our Savior’s Lutheran School has arraignments with two schools in the area who will accommodate our student’s needs.
If it were to become necessary to evacuate students to an off-campus location, Our Savior’s School will notify parents of their children’s evacuation and location in one, or all of three ways:
1. A notice will be prominently posted at or near the front of the school or school office.
2. An automated phone message with details about students’ location will be generated.
3. We will notify our Out-Of-State contact with details to give to parents who call in.
